This action is the creation of a series of maps about the daily displacement of people as we live in a mobile society in Northern Virginia. Maps humanize the landscape when they focus on the daily gestures of occupation and the role that people play in space. This project focuses on the relationship between "people to people" and "people to landscape." This particular map traces tourism in the mall. A video camera is suspended by a balloon attached to a person's jacket. The camera in turn registers a visual geographical description of the persons journey.
