In this action, Floating Lab Collective and partner CASA de Maryland were invited to speak at the Baltimore Bioneers ’08 Conference, titled Cultivating Change, Inspiring Solutions. At the conference, the Collective displayed a video of the making of and the model homes created by day laborers in Action #5, "The American Landscape of Dreams". We invited one of the day laborers to speak about this experience; he also spoke on a panel for CASA de Maryland describing the practice and effects of wage theft. Possibly explore an extension of this partnership with CASA de Maryland of Silver Spring.
